Belships ASA provides shipping transportation services in a global market with customers and partners in all parts of the world. Our Group’s business is managed from offices in Oslo, Bangkok and Singapore. Commercial operations are handled by Lighthouse Navigation, a majority-owned subsidiary of Belships ASA. Technical and crew management is provided by Belships Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a company recently acquired by V. Group.

Since a merger with the Lighthouse Group in 2018, Belships’ has been focused on creating growth and expansion.

Including four newbuildings to be delivered between 2024-2026, the owned fleet consists of 34x very modern Supra/Ultramax bulk carriers with cash breakeven for 2023 of about USD 10 900 per day per vessel.

Based on current contract coverage, we expect to generate significant free cash flow and aim to pay quarterly dividends as announced with our dividend policy.

Good corporate governance and transparency is important, and we firmly believe it results in a more valuable business. Our goal is to create value out of shipowning and operating and to return capital to our investors competitively over time.

Lighthouse Navigation – Dry bulk operating company

The main business for the Lighthouse Navigation Group is dry bulk operating. Lighthouse also offers services within parcelling, ship agency and commercial management. Lighthouse Navigation was founded in 2009 and has a strong financial and operational track record since inception. Main commodities which are transported and traded are steels, agricultural products such as rice, grains and fertilizers in addition to forest products and building materials.

Belships Management – Technical and crewing management

Belships Management (Singapore), provide technical and crewing operations from offices in Singapore, Tianjin and Shanghai. The company was founded in 1983 and have international shipowners as clients in addition to Belships ASA. The company was recently acquired by V.Group, see press release dated 10th July 2023, and will continue to conduct technical and crew management for the Belships fleet.
