Sverre J. Tidemand, Chairman
Mr. Tidemand was the managing director of Belships from 1979 to May 2011. He was appointed chairman of the board of Belships in June 2011. He is an engineer and graduated from MIT with a Bachelor in Science of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and a Master of Science in Shipping and Shipbuilding Management in 1974. Mr. Tidemand worked for Lazard Brothers & Co. Ltd. in London from 1975 to 1979 and has also previously served on Belships’ board. Mr. Tidemand is a Norwegian citizen and lives in Oslo, Norway.
Mrs. Ringdal is a lawyer and has been working as a senior advisor for the Norwegian Bar Association since September 2013.
