The subscription period in Belships ASA (Belships) rights issue expired at 16:30 hours (Oslo time) 24 July 2013. Preliminary counting indicates that Belships has received subscriptions for approximately 18.1 million new shares at the end of the subscription period. The rights issue is fully underwritten by Sonata AS and shares not subscribed for in the rights issue will accordingly be subscribed for by Sonata AS.
The final allocation of the shares offered in the rights issue is expected to be resolved by the Belships’ Board of Directors on 30 July 2013, in accordance with the allocation criteria set out in the prospectus dated 28 June 2013. The final result of the rights issue is expected to be published on 30 July 2013, and letters will be sent on the same day, giving notification of allocated new shares and the corresponding subscription amount to be paid by each subscriber.
Payment for the allocated shares falls due on 1 August 2013.
